Oleron Orange Drusy Geode Shadow Box

The Drusy Geode in this Oleron necklace is a very special stone. It is rare to open up a geode and find the interior covered in the fine crystalline structures that make the whole thing sparkle. As a child I would ride out to the desert with my best friend to a mesa with lots of geodes and we would spend hours trying to break them to find one full of drusy. Sadly this stone does not come from my adventures but from a favorite gem dealer who scours South America for such beauties. Still, I knew it deserved a good setting. The Drusy is prong set in a shadow box that allows it to not sit so high. It is surrounded by bezel set gemstones in lovely fall colors: Sapphires, Tourmaline, Garnet, Carnelian & Amethyst. These gorgeous stones are all bezel set in Fine Silver and surrounded with my signature concentric circle disk in Gold. The hollow shadow box is all formed from Sterling Silver.

• gemstones: all natural gemstones. orange Drusy Geode (42.86cts), 4 Sapphires (2.65cts),  pink Tourmaline (.62cts), Carnelian, Rhodolite Garnet, Garnet & Amethyst.
• finishes: Sterling Silver, Fine Silver & 18k Gold. Silver has been oxidized and given a brushed finish. Gold disks have a polished finish.
• size: pendant is 2 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches tall, pendant is 3/8 inches deep including prongs on Geode. Pendant comes with or without 20 inch long Sterling Silver rolo chain with handmade S-clasp. Please contact me for different chain length.
