I have become a little obsessed with hollow forms lately. They just feel so substantial. I love the way they look like one giant hunk of silver, the way your fingers slide over one plane and then slip over another.
The Cairo necklace features a chunk of raw Ruby cut into a hexagon. This stone is a whopper (41.5 cts) so I decided it was perfect to set in a hollow form. This is one substantial pendant but is lighter than is looks because of the hollow form. It is still 10 grams of silver and it feels wonderful! This eye catching talisman is the perfect unisex necklace.
