Osaka Australian Boulder Opal Heart Pendant

I have never been a big fan of hearts, I have always though of them as overly girly. But in an age where people malign empathy, I have begun to see the symbol of the heart as something entirely different. I have begun to see the heart as a symbol of courage. To have hope, empathy and love in a cynical world takes an immense amount of strength and courage. Thus the symbol of the heart is forever altered. 

This Osaka Necklace features a luminous Australian Boulder Opal heart, this little beauty is mostly made up of caramels and blues that range from translucent to milky with a lovely swoosh pattern. I set enigmatic stone in an 18k Gold bezel and accented with a sea of my signature hand stamped Gold disks on a background of oxidized Silver. 

This is a one-of-a-kind collector piece.

• gemstones: smooth Australian Boulder Opal in the shape of a heart (4.04cts) with caramel and blue coloring, ranging from translucent to milky.
  
• finishes: 18k yellow Gold, Sterling Silver.
  
• size: pendant measures just under 7/8 inches tall by just under 1 inch wide. Chain is a small but heavy cable chain that has been oxidized and polished, it is adjustable at 16, 17 and 18 inches in length and is finished with a small lobster clasp.
